place wise the taste become different but spirit of the dish remains same.in the northan india,the lucknowy chicken biryani is most wanted and the delisious food stuff and loved in all walk of people either muslims r non mulislims.here is the recipie of the said item,as follows;

ingrediants;

1--1kg,boiler chicken[skinned and cut into pieces],2--good quality rice-1kg,3--refined,250gm,onions-500gm,redchillispowder-2ts,tomatos-3no,dhania,leaves asper taste,ginger,powder 1 t s,badi ellaichi-8,small elaichi-8-10pcs,kewda,1 ts,eating color 1/2ts,1 cup milk and 10 green chillis.recipie--,cut onions into fine pieces,wash ckickenfully,wash rice 1/2 hrs.earlier,fry onion into refine till it turs yellow,ad ckickenin it n fry lightly then ad paste ofginger n garlic n ad redchillis,salt,curd,badi n small elaichi  n cardmom and cook well chickenthen ad garam masala to it.after it boil water and ad rice,ad tejpata n salt when rice is half cooked then filter rice then pour kewda n eating color over it.ad chiken n dhania pati again pour rice overit make it i 3 layers.ad 1/2 cup milk and cook whole material 1/2 hrs.on light flame and rotate cooking pot after small interval.lucknowy chicken biryani ready to serve.
