Lombardi’s Pizzeria - New York City, NY
I was in NYC for the 2007 Summer Fancy Food Show. I ate so much food in the days I was there I think I gained 20 pounds in 4 days. I ate, and ate, and ate, and ate... I had always wanted to see the big coal fired Lombardi’s oven so it was on my Have To list when I went. This one was a roasted red pepper, sausage, and anchovy... I usually don’t get anchovies on pizza for I’m not a big fan - they worked on this pie... I know there are a bizillion pizza places in NYC but if you go take the time to check out Lombardi’s! I give it an A
