Kitchen fire – how to handle it?

Cooking is fun and a very rewarding activity. However, one thing that is very important to keep in mind is safety. Kitchen safety rules must be adhered to strictly or else it can be total disaster. Most of us pay a lot of attention to recipes and the details in each of them, however, do we ever think of how we should react in case of a kitchen fire. An oil or grease  fire can be terrible, it can actually bring the house down in minutes. Check out the dos and donts.

Remember: Do not pour water in case of an oil fire.
Do not try to move the vessel, you can end up with serious burns.

 

After watching this video I for sure have added to my list of dos and donts while working in the kitchen. How about you?
