Kirstie Alley's weight loss began at the start of Dancing With The Stars, Season 12 that started in March 2011. This actress who was bordering around 200 pounds at that time, has shed half of it by just dancing and by changing her eating habits. Dancing is a great way to burn calories and feel good at the same time. One hour of rigorous dancing can have you burn around 300 to 600 calories. Kirstie Alley had danced 5 days a week, for at least 2 or 3 hours a day; and she lost 90 pounds in 3 months, which is pretty awesome! “I’ve lost 100 pounds,” the 60-year-old actress told Entertainment Tonight Tuesday “I feel like I’m back in my element. I honestly didn’t even realize what I looked like.” she said.

Apart from dancing, Kirstie Alley also made some serious dietary changes. She is someone who was fond of all fried food, and she had to let that habit go. Eat within an hour and a half after waking and every 4 hours throughout the day to keep your metabolism up.” Kirstie Alley also drank Organic Liason's metabolism boosting drink to help her lose weight quicker.
