KFC seems to be determined to patch the potholed roads of Chicago for free. So, dont be surprised if you see Colonel Sanders patching potholes in your city.
The Mayor has received a mail from KFC propositioning to freshen up the roads as part of their “Fresh Tastes Best“campaign. If the Mayor accepts KFC’s proposition, this will be the first ever corporate - sponsored road fix.

These patched up potholes will be branded with the Col Sanders handiwork . This non permanent etching; “Re-Freshed by KFC”, is a clever play on KFC’s ad campaign “Fresh Tastes Best“ which stresses on the freshness of their chickens.
Certainly the citizens of Chicago will be grateful, if KFC can actually fill up the potholes that frusturate them everyday. The city is said to have close to 350.00 million potholes! But there is a catch to the situation. The city has rules against allowing ads in public way. Now, we will have to wait and see if the Mayor will decide to overlook that clause and allow KFC to restore Chicago's roads.
Till then, keep looking out for Col. Sanders!
