Julianne Hough Diet
A lot of young women out there have asked for the Julianne Hough diet. Why? Most of us know the lovely Julianne Hough from Dancing With The Stars but her svelte body got a lot more attention when she appeared alongside Cher and Christina Aguilera in Burlesque. This 23 year old American professional ballroom dancer and country singer wants to set the right example for the all young women out. Let's check out her diet and fitness regimen.
The Julianne Hough Diet
Julianne Hough wants to put all the diet rumor mills to rest. She said that she is definitely not having orange juice as her only source of carbohydrate. She is definitely having a lot more than that. Julianne Hough said, “When I'm shooting, I'll probably have salads and fish and chicken, some vegetables, I could do roasted or steamed with just a lot of lemon and try to stay away from oils and salt. My go-to breakfast is always scrambled egg whites, spinach and tomatoes or something like that.” For Julianne Hough, it all about having the right body image of oneself. She said, “There are a lot of teenagers out there who look at me and say, "Well, she's 21, I want to look like her." But I want everyone to know, especially young girls, I eat. I am not starving myself. I'm concerned about young women and their self esteem being based on what they see on TV or in magazines. It's not about being beautiful on the outside, it's about loving yourself and who you are.” Amen to that!
So what is she doing in terms of her fitness? Is she just dancing away to glory or is she also hitting the gym? Yes, she is going to the gym and is working with a trainer. And she is working on everything when she is there. “When I work out, do a lot of combination exercises, like a dance/pilates/weights combination. I might start off with weights on my ankles and do a ton of leg exercises, then put three-pound weights in my wrists and do some arm exercises. I don't do bicep curls, I prefer circling my arms and twisting them and stuff, so it lengthens my muscles. Then after that, I do a ton of sit-ups and then cardio for about 45 minutes to an hour. Finally, I do more arms, this time without weights, and then I do standing abs, “ Julianne Hough said.
Final Word on the Julianne Hough Diet
Julianne Hough definitely knows what she is doing and it is definitely working for her. You can definitely follow her example. Dancing is a great way to stay in shape, feel energized and stay healthy. I will recommend dancing for everyone as I do that myself.
