It all started in 1948...

Frito-Lay introduced Cheetos - the wonderfully crunchy, cheese-flavored snack made from extruded cornmeal in 1948, and I’m glad they did.  I love cheetos – I also lovehot food stuffs.  I’ve been putting powdered jalapenos or other types of hot rubs on my cheetos for a long timenow.  That is until they came out with the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.  That filled the heat need I had.  Good cheesy heat – now we have the XXtra Flamin’ Hot Crunchy Cheetos are just that –Xxtra Flamin’ hot.  So hot you can hardly taste anything but hot.  You can’t really taste cheese, you can’t taste the corn, you can’t taste anything but hot.  They start off nice and spicy and I felt like I was just eating a hot cheeto – however after a few more bites I could quickly tell I was only eating heat.  Has anyone else had experience with these?  I’m thinking it might be nice to crush them up and dip some chicken in them before pan-frying the chicken?  I’m trying for some thoughts because eating them straight up in my eyes really isn’t that good…

This is what a normal bag of Cheetos Looks like

Here's a bag of the XXtra Flamin' Hot Cheetos...  Notice the color difference?
