Introductions
Exhausted, Braindead, and loving it.
I am embarking on a journey of total culinary chaos. After five long years, two associate degrees, and a billion burnt mistakes later I am finally begining my life... my true career if you will. At this moment, I am finishing college, working a crappy part time buffet pastry cook job, and helping to design and open a new restaurant here in New Mexico.
So... lets back track a bit... y'know get to know eachother.... I'm a 21 year old, fresh out of school, with only small time job experience but big time drive and determination. Yah, I've made my share of mistakes..ok, so maybe the word 'mistakes' is a bit hard... lets say 'learning experiences.' I love what I do, and I do what I love. Before the age of 16 I had almost 0% cooking experience, but when I took a chance on the culinary program at my high school, I fell in love with the artistry behind food.
My main use of this blog will be for sharing my journey as I help open this new place up and begin to find my place in the food community.
