Insane Milking Videos Go Viral On Internet
Move over Gangnam-style! The new craze in the video world is ‘milking.’ Students across Newcastle are pouring four-pint milk containers over their heads and uploading the videos on YouTube. So far, such videos have hit 30,000 views in less than 7 days.
The ‘milking’ incidents are happening in public places like outside pubs, roundabouts, under a tree or right in the middle of the road. While all the Newcastle participants are students and graduates, this fever has also spread to Edinburgh and Oxford Universities.
Tom Morris, a 22-year-old student is the man behind the ‘milking’ movement. The idea crept into his head while sitting in his kitchen and then the first video was uploaded from outside a Starbucks shop in Jesmond. After uploading the first video on Facebook, they got a lot of good response (read ‘Likes’) so they uploaded more videos on YouTube.
The trend has now spread to other UK Institutions too and one of the YouTube users has also exhorted people to “start a revolution” and “milk all the cities.” Well, as for us, we think all this means a lot of milk going down the drain. Complete wastage of resources!
