Halloween Candies — CandiesTrick children into eating less candy this Halloween! Well, we are no spoilsport to ask you to trick children into eating less of their favorite stuff, especially on a special occasion like Halloween. It is just that you need to keep a tab on their intake so that you are saved from the hassles of toothache and stomachache later. Excessive candy eating could lead to tooth cavity, and cause worms to grow in the stomach, which can lead to weakness, indigestion, and anemia. Children being children will never listen to your advice! Try talking to them about eating less candy, but the chances that they will pay any heed to your advice is very slim. In such a situation, you need to trick children to eat candy within limits. So how do you do that? Go through this write-up on how to trick children into eating less candy this Halloween and pick your cues.

Tips To Trick Children Into Eating Less Candy This Halloween

  • Even before your little ghouls and ghosts go around tricking people to give them sweets and candies, stuff them with healthy snack like peanut butter, fruit rolls, or any other nutritious treat. That will make him/her eat less of these candies. Remember, your kids are likely to gorge less on sweets if they are not hungry.
  • When it comes to candies and sweets, there is hardly any stopping for the kids. Make a schedule for them to have in small servings and promise them some gifts for following the plans.
  • Buy small snack-sized candies instead of big ones so that your child does not eat huge chunks in the pretext of not being able to break it into smaller pieces.
  • Never store candies for later use. Give it away! If you have extra stock of candies, then it would be a wise call to dole it out among your friends and acquaintances, rather than let your child binge on them and spoil their teeth. However, if you plan to stock the treats, make sure you keep it away from the sight of your little ones.

Hopefully, these tips will help you to put a check on your child’s habit of voracious bingeing on sweets this Halloween.

Yea right, as if they will listen when you tell them to eat less or give them other good stuff to eat. They will binge on the candy no matter how full they are! Maybe using the reverse psychology will help!?
