How to Store Fresh Juice
When you prepare fresh juice at home, you can easily customize it to suit your personal taste, but you must also know how to store fresh juice.
Storing fresh juice is as important as creating a new flavor. In order to create a flavor of your own, you can combine apples, carrots and ginger. If you do not want to experiment much you can try out classics like pure grapefruit, pure apple or pure orange juice. Fresh juice can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer, but it is often recommended to drink fresh juice as soon as it is made because it is most healthful at that time. If you care about flavor more than freshness, you must not hesitate to store it for later use.
- Keep the juice in an airtight glass container or containers. If you are freezing the juice, leave some room at the top of the container, so that the juice has enough space to expand. On the other hand, if you want to refrigerate it, you must fill the container up to top so that as little air as possible can come in contact with the juice.
- The container must be sealed very tightly. After it is sealed, turn container upside-down and then shake it gently to make sure that the seal is secure and airtight. In case of a loose seal, air will enter the container very easily and cause the juice to go bad.
- If you think you will be able to finish the juice in three to four days, place the container inside the refrigerator. And if you want to store the juice for a longer period, place the container into the freezer.
This was all about how to store fresh fruit juice but you can come up with your own ideas too.
