To store dried medjool dates you will need a food storage container with a very tight lid, a masking tape and a writing utensil.
To start the process of storing dried medjool dates, you should take a container which has an air-tight lid. If the lid is not air-tight, air will seep in and shall soil the dates. In case, you do not have an airtight container at home or you are not sure if your container is actually air-tight or not, it is best to buy a container from your local supermarket where they are easily available.
Now, you can pour all the dates into this storage container and seal the lid tightly. In case you are using an old container and you have just washed it before using, you need to ensure that the container is well dried inside or else the moisture will spoil the dates. Take a dry cloth or a napkin and slowly clean the inner surface of the container so that every bit of moisture is sucked out from the cloth. The idea is to seal the container tightly and not allow air or moisture to seep in which will destroy the crunchiness of the dates.
You should always write the storage date on the container so that you have a ready reference and you know how long you have stored the dates. You can use a freezer tape to write and then press it carefully on the container, which will be your reference.
