Imagine handing out candies shaped like butterflies with wings either broken or cracked. To avoid these kind of mishaps when you remove candies from their molds follow the simple method given below:

  1. Place the molds filled with candy mix in the refrigerator for half hour for hardening. Make sure that you place the sticks and picks when the mix is not solid.

  2. Fold a towel, slightly larger than the size of the mold and keep it on the counter.

  3. Take a wax paper and place this on top of the folded towel.

  4. Once the candy mix has solidified and the candies are ready to be removed from their molds, take them out of the refrigerator. Let the mold with candies rest for 5 minutes.

  5. Flip the mold over onto the wax paper carefully.
