It is best if you slice vegetables like radishes, cucumbers, carrots and peppers a day in advance, so that you do not have to rush through the meal preparation process the next day. Fresh vegetables shall also be very light for appetite, especially for the day on which you or your guests are bound to have a whole lot of delicacies. Thus, shop for huge range of fresh vegetables for this special festival meal.
Soft drinks – Include as many soft drinks you wish as a part of this Purim Jewish festival such as sprite, cola, fruit flavored drinks and yes - bottled water – do not miss out on this, as everyone is going to look for plain water, no matter how much beverages you serve during the festival. You need to plan for different wines –plan for sweet wines and include good dry to semi dry wines, red or white in complete abundance. If whiskeys are your preference do not forget to place a bottle on the dinner table before your guests arrive.
Different courses:
- Plan fresh fruits as the first course – you can cut half a melon with fresh strawberries and place it with fruit cocktail.
- Have something really taste for the second course and include hot dog knishes or potato kniches or mushrooms in abundance.
- The main course can be roasted meat, cooked potatoes with carrots and onions, oven baked turkey, fresh mashed vegetables and peas – making the dish completely suitable for Jewish Purim festival.
