How To Apply Home-Made Lemon Scrub

Take a small amount of lemon scrub in your hands and start massaging on clean skin in gentle circular movements. Do the massage all over face and body in upward strokes. The massage should be done until sugar granules melt completely and mixture begins to fall off in flakes. Wash with lukewarm water first and then with cold water. This helps in closing open pores. Pat dry and apply an organic and natural moisturizer.

Benefits of Home-Made Lemon Scrub

1. Lemon has excellent exfoliating properties because of its AHA content.

2. Regular use of lemon scrub not only softens and hydrates skin but also lightens it significantly.

3. Massage with lemon scrub increases blood circulation which in turn brings about a healthy glow on the skin.

4. Lemon scrub is excellent for fighting against dark patches and skin pigmentation.

Caution:

1. Do not use lemon juice without diluting it in water. Lemon has very high ph content and concentrated lemon juice can burn skin.

2. Do not use this scrub more than once a week.

3. Try to use lemon scrub in the evening or night as lemon sensitizes the skin to the sun’s rays for a couple of hours.
