Most of us are constantly on the move, whether we are rushing to office, running around doing household chores or going shopping. In all this rush, our legs and feet take the maximum toll, and need pampering from time to time, and hence let me tell you How To Make Fruit Enzyme Foot Soak to Relax A Little Bit:

Papaya and Pineapple Soak

For this you’ll need about 2 small cups (or 1 large) of Papaya and Pineapple cubes each, 3 cups (12- 15 oz) whole milk and a bender.

  • Blend Papaya and pineapple cubes in the blender. Make sure they belnd perfectly and no lumps are left.
  • Now warm the whole milk.
  • Pour the blended fruits and milk in a large container. The container must be large enough to accommodate your feet comfortably.
  • Make sure that the milk is not too warm for you. If its hot, mix the fruits in it and wait for it to reach the optimum temperature.
  • Now soak you feet in container and relax. Soak for at least 15-20 minutes.
  • You could either close your eyes and relax or read a magazine or newspaper. I personally prefer to shut my eyes and relax and rejuvenate.
  • The bromelain enzyme in the pineapple and the enzymes in papaya, together with goodness and healing properties of milk will help smoothen the foot skin and ease their nerves.
  • The enzymes in fruits also help in removing tanning and dead skin from the feet surface.
  • Once you are done soaking, use a pumice stone to gently scrub your feet, to remove the dead skin.
  • Apply a good foot cream/moisturizer, and wear foot socks.

Warning: While making this foot soak with fruits, make sure that your skin is not allergic to any of the ingredients mentioned above.

Strawberry Soak

Make fruit enzyme foot soak with strawberries. You will need about 15 strawberries, ½ cup brown sugar, 1 cup honey and 3 cups (12-15 oz) whole milk.

  • Blend the strawberries (you could cut them each strawberry in 2 halves) in a blender, till mashed properly.
  • Warm the whole milk.
  • Pour the blended strawberries, milk, brown sugar and honey in a large container.
  • Honey will provide silky softness to the foot skin.
  • Soak your feet for about 15-20 minutes. You could use the brown sugar to gently exfoliate your feet to remove dead skin.
  • Follow with a foot cream/ moisturizer. Wear foot socks.

Besides relaxing your feet, fruit enzymes and acids tighten and refine the skin's texture by helping to slough away dead cells.

So, now you can pamper your feet anytime at home without worrying about all the money and time that you will have had to spend at the spa.
