Frying the chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into bite sized pieces. Heat the oil on a high flame and fry the cumin seeds for a minute. Now, add to the garlic and fry for another minute before adding the ginger and frying it for 1 minute again. Then, add all your chicken pieces into the fried masala or spices and stir fry the chicken for some ten minutes. When you see the chicken has turned white you will know it’s almost cooked. Now, place the chicken aside and proceed for the next step.

Frying the veggies

Add the remaining spices and fry them together for 3 minutes. After that, add hot peppers and onion and fry them till they are soft. That should be approximately five minutes. Now, it’s time for the bell peppers to be fried. Cook them till they are soft.

Mixing the chicken and veggies

To the veggies, add the chicken and cilantro leaves. Also add the fresh tomatoes and stir fry all the ingredients for five minutes, keeping the heat at a medium level. If needed, add some water and cook the chicken until soft. Now, turn of the heat and add the lemon juice over the cooked meat. Your chicken jalfrezi is ready!
