If you love fishing, you might feel a little frustrated if you don’t know how to make carp dough bait especially after you have set your mind on catching a huge carp for dinner.  Let me assure you that making carp dough bait is no big deal either. All you have to do is to put together a number of ingredients all of which are easily available. There is absolutely no guarantee that your dough will work wonders though.  However, you may feel satisfied once you find the fish being lured to the bait something akin to the light drawing the insects by the dozens.  You can definitely have a look at some of the best baits that have been highly successful. You are also free to experiment while making carp dough bait. There is no necessity to follow the recipes rigidly as a little innovation might just prove to be irresistible to the carps that thrive in your neighborhood pond.

Sour Bread Bait - You need some sour bread for creating a good dough first. Just pour a little bit of yeast into a bowl and add warm water to it. Keep stirring until it dissolves and then slowly add the dough to get a thick consistency. Next comes the waiting part! All you require now is patience as your dough will rise up within a few days when kept aloof in a warm corner of the kitchen.  Once you get a good dough make small balls with it and dangle the bait in front of the waiting carp.

Syrup Bait - Another bait that you can try out while making carp dough bait is the one that contains syrup. Heat up just a little amount of water and then add a heaped table spoon of syrup with the subsequent addition of cornmeal which should absorb all the water. Create small balls from the dough and use short shank hooks to tempt the carp.

Happy Fishing!
