The first step, to keeping a beer line cold, is to measure the length of the beer line which is required for installation, and cut the insulation to the same length as the beer line. Also cut the PVC pipes in the same length as the beer line.
Do It Right
The next step, is to do it right, and thread the beer line with the insulation through the piping and then seal the insulation around the pipe. You can use a silicon sealant to do the same. Now attach this to the fridge where the beer is stored, and see to it that the cold air blows continuously along the line to maintain the needed temperature. This combination of cold air and installation, will help in keeping a beer line cold. You can also install a blower near the mouth of the PVC piping in the fridge to ensure that the cold air is always moving into the pipe.
The process of keeping a beer line cold might sound a little complicated, but at the end of it, if you do it right, the result is well worth the effort.
