How To Heat Up Valentines Day With Romantic Picnic Food
You truly have to be a romantic at heart to plan a picnic for Valentines Day and make some romantic picnic food. Go that extra mile and plan a special Valentine’s Day date for your sweetheart. Most people take the easy way out by simply going to the mall and picking up a card or a present and handing it over. There are few who make that extra effort and plan out something different. If both of you are foodies then there is nothing better than to heat up Valentines Day with romantic food - take it outdoors and it becomes a picnic.

While arranging for a picnic you need to be careful with what you make because it needs to be easy to eat as well as to pack.
Fruit Bowl – This is really easy to prepare and store in a basket. Simply cut up some of your favorite fruits and let it chill in the fridge for a while before you leave for the picnic. Try and pick fruits that are in season as they always have a better flavor to them.
A chilled bottle of champagne with a couple of flutes is my personal favorite. You can always kick off the romantic mood of this special picnic with this drink. You can even buy some disposable flutes in the grocery store so are not risking breaking any glass.
Sandwiches with your favorite filling are another great option. Depending on what you and your sweetheart enjoy eating you can experiment with meats and vegetables. These can be small square or rectangular cut so they are fun to eat.
Heart shaped cookies or if you prefer chocolate cupcakes is another thing that your picnic basket must have.I prefer going with the cookies because the heart shapes add that extra special touch to signify the romantic essence of Valentines Day.
Hope you enjoy making all of these things for your sweetheart and that your Valentines Day date is an extraordinary one.
