How to grill scallops
If you are interested in learning how to grill scallops, then, my easy yet yummy recipe is surely going to excite you. Scallops are a species of mollusks that thrive in the ocean bed. You can easily find them in departmental stores where they are usually sold frozen. If you live by the shore, you may even be lucky to get hold of some fresh scallops from a local fisherman. 
How to know your scallops
One pound yields 20 to 40 scallops, depending upon their size. You can always identify your good scallops by their non-odor characteristic. Good scallops never have any fishy smell or strong odor.
You will need
For grilling scallops, you need a charcoal or a gas grill, paper towels, skewers, cooking brush, olive oil, measuring spoons, bowl, salt, pepper, seasonings of your choice, cooking oil and grill brush.
Procedure on how to grill scallops
Fire up the grill and adjust it to a medium heat. Clean your scallops in cool water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Next, thread four large scallops on each skewer and brush them generously with oil. Coat them with salt, pepper and seasoning like thyme, oregano, lemon pepper and garlic powder. Then, placing the skewered scallops on the grill, cook them for five minutes, turning them from time to time, so that, each side of the scallops are cooked well. Once they are lightly golden and opaque, remove them and serve them hot with grilled veggies and brown rice.
