Rotisserie is nothing but a method of roasting the meat by skewering the meat on the spit. Spit is a  long solid rod used to hold food while cooking over the fire in a fireplace or over a campfire.Grilling the rotisserie chicken is a fun activity which you can enjoy on weekends along with your friends and family.

Procedure to grill rotisserie chicken:

The very first thing one can do is to clean the chicken properly.Always try to select the small chicken, though it takes less time for cooking.

Now we can start grilling the chicken in the following ways:

-Marinate the chicken for few hours before start grilling. Prepare the marinades by combining the following things in a bowl. Take the chicken, 1 1/2 cup of olive oil, 3/4 cups of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of dry mustard, 2 teaspoons of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/2 cup of vinegar, 1/3 cup of lemon juice, 1 1/2 teaspoon of parsley, 3 cloves of minced garlic and 1/2 cup of some whisky.Mix all the ingredients together and put the marinades along with the chicken in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours.

-Take out the chicken and keep the chicken at the normal temperature.

-You can tie the legs and the wings with the kitchen twine in order to avoid them getting burned when the rotisserie turns.

-Keep the temperature about 375 degrees, which is best for the grill and rotoisserie.

-Let the chicken to be cooked for 1 1/2 -2hours.You can check the doneness with the meat thermometer. When there is no pink color remained in the flesh, this means the chicken is fully cooked.

-Remove the chicken from the rotisserie when it is completely cooked.

-Allow the chicken to sit for 25minutes before you start carving.
