How To Fight Hunger With A Holiday Pie? Can we...um.. use pies instead of gunpowder in the cannons? Holiday pie for world peace!?! No? Well yes; almost! First, we fight hunger with a Holiday pie, then we go for world peace. I think that it will be super awesome(read: yummy) if all the wars are fought with pie throwing machines. I love food fights, not wars. I'm a foodie; not a fighter. Ok, coming back to where I started, Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab, Chicago are the good Samaritans of this Holiday season. Why? They are selling some yummalicious pies and with every pie sold, $1 goes to fight hunger.

A pie at Joe's sells at $29.95. Why $29.95, what is so special about that pie? For starters, it comes in different flavors; a typical Southern Sweet-potato pecan, Boston cream, chocolate fudge(yes), Key Lime and apple. However, you will have order the pies, at least 2 days in advance. The best part about Joe's pies are that, with every pie ordered/sold, $1 will go to Greater Chicago Food Depository. Yep! Fighting hunger with a Holiday pie; Joe's way.

This week's donation deal goes up till the end of the year. So, do place your orders for your New Year's Eve party and for other parties too. And if you are looking for the address of Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab, then you might want to note this down:60 E. Grand Ave., Chicago, IL. Ph:312-379-5637

My only wish is that; there should be more pie-makers coming forth like this to fight world hunger. More pies and no more hunger! Amen!
