If you have never tried tilapia and thinking how to eat tilapia, you will be happy to know that there are a number of options for you. You can bake the fish, roast it, steam it or even deep fry it with herbs. Tilapia can be had with steamed rice, noodles and even bread. It makes a good lunch when you can have it with rice or simply enjoy deep fried tilapia as your evening snack.
Here are some very sumptuous ways of eating Tilapia.Baked tilpia ready to be served


Tilapia – Baked for Lunch
• Clean and dry fresh tilapia
• Put some olive oil, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper, herbs
• Add some onion and garlic thoroughly mixed.
• Let tilapia soak in this mixture for 3 hours.
• Preheat your even at 350 degree F.
• Bake for ten minutes. After ten minutes – turn and bake the other side for 10 minutes more.
Your baked tilapia will be ready to be served!


Tilapia – Fried fish for snacks
• Clean and dry tilapia
• Add olive oil, herbs, salt. Add fresh pepper and other herbs
• Heat oil in a wok.
• When oil starts smoking put the fish slowly and let it fry.
• As soon as the fish starts changing color, turn it to the other side.
• Let it cook for 5 – 9 minutes more, till the fish is cooked.
• Serve fresh fried tilapia with a few drops of lemon.Fried tilapia fillets can be a wonderful evening snack.


Tilapia can also tastes great when grilled. It involves the same process of marinating the fish well and then grilling it for 3-4 minutes.
