How to Eat Tarte Flambée?
Tarte Flambee is a delicious French bread with yummy toppings. This French Bread is popular in Alsacia and Germany where they are called flammekueche or Flammkuchen respectively! This French dish is composed of a thin bread base covered with crème fraîche, onions, and bacon.
The Tarte Flambe was originally made as a farmers dish and so it is no surprise that it is a filling meal and is usually served alone .
You can eat the Tarte Flambe for lunch as the first course or as the main course. They are always served hot and sometimes thin slices of Tarte Flambe can be served as appetizers. You can also serve them before you serve a bowl of soup. Hot Tarte Flambe goes very well with a chilled glass of white wine and a good serving of green salad!
Riesling, Pinot Blanc or Sylvaner is just a few of the wines that you can serve up with Tarte Flambe. Actually if you can’t get your hands on any of these, you can just eat the Tarte Flambe with any fruity white wine or even a beer.
When you eat the Tarte Flambee it is better if it is served on a wooden board as it helps in cutting and serving this bread easily.
