Mortadella tastes wonderful when eaten in a sandwichMortadella is a  large Italian sausage which is very popular worldwide - though every country has its own variation of the sausage. It is not a good idea to learn any one way of eating this dish - learn how to eat mortadella in all possible ways because in different places of the world, it is eaten in different styles. Here are some ways of eating mortadella.  


Portugal and Spain: Mortadella is very popular here.
•    It is loved in sandwiches with some additional olives and pepper.
•    You will love the excellently flavored sausage with spices which include whole black pepper, myrtle berries, coriander and also jalapenos as well as pistachios. It is quite popular as a breakfast item.  


Chile, Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina:
•    The Italian immigrants popularized mortadella in this region. Now mortadella is eaten in almost every home and widely sold in restaurants all over.
•    You can eat the very traditional mortadella here and with the authentic lovely taste of additional pepper grains.
•    Add some additional sauce for extra taste and flavor.
•    It is loved as a breakfast menu and sometimes makes a lunch item too.


Middle East:


•    Mortadella is very popular in Muslim countries too where it is eaten with turkey, beef or chicken.
•    Those who wish to make it spicy can add their preferred additional sauces and chili flakes.
•    If you eat it in Lebanon and Egypt you get to taste pork mortadella.
•    Pork mortadella is very spicy and is usually extremely hot. Mortadella can make any meal complete - have it for lunch or dinner
•    It is mainly eaten for lunch or dinner and even between meals.
