Going back to historical aspect of gazpacho, Spanish people used to cool their senses by guzzling a bowl full of gazpacho after a day’s long work in heating summer. The peasants in Spain mixed olive oil, with spices and raw veggies and had it with stale bread in supper and lunch.

As Gazpacho is nothing more than raw vegetable soup in cold environs, you can try it with hot garlic bread, the marriage of hot and cold recipes can truly make you forget heaven!

  • You can give Mexican tinge to the soup, add loads of roasted garlic, onions, butter, cumin, dried basil, basil and some oregano will be great. This is also seen as a healthy option and cure for sore throat and cold coughs.
  • Another way of adding some tangy flavor to vegetable soup can be dribbles of lime juice. Those who love lemon taste can have some sweet and sour flavor of gazpacho.
  • One of the best and traditional way of having delicious gulps of gazpacho, is to get some fresh countryside tomatoes pureed, adding it to uncooked vegetables and spicing it up with ginger, pepper, and salt.
  • You can make cold soup thickening more lump some by adding potato starch or mashed potato in form of boiled concoction. It serves to be also a warm soup with great tangy.
