Tips on how to cook cod - sauteed cod
I love the taste of cod and this is the reason why I learnt how to cook cod in many different ways. I believe that the white dense flesh of cod makes it perfect for cooking it in any style. Here are some ways of cooking cod mentioned just for you.
 

Sautéed Cod:
• Cut the cod fillets in small pieces.
• Dry them using paper towels.
• Add lemon juice for seasoning.
• Add butter in a pan.
• Let the butter get heated over a medium flame.
• Put the cod fillets in the pan when the butter gets heated.
• Keep turning the cod fillets often.
• 10 minutes will be enough for the cod to get cooked.
• Serve your cod over pasta salad.

 

Broiled cod fillets ready to be eaten - sprinkled with lime juice

Cod Fish Parmesan:

• Put some olive oil in a baking dish.
• Place all cod fillets in this dish – single layered.
• Put a layer of spaghetti sauce on the fillets.
• Set the temperature at 350 degree F.
• Cook for 10 minutes
• Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on the cooked cod.
• Bake for 10 minutes more.
• Serve when the cheese gets bubbly

Broiled Cod Filets:
• Thaw all the cod fillets overnight.
• When the cods get thawed completely wash them in cold water.
• Pat dry them with paper towel.
• Place the fillets in your broiler pan.
• Add some butter to this.
• Squeeze some fresh lemon juice. Add some seasonings like pepper or herbs of your choice.
• Set your oven at its highest temperature.
• Preheat the broiler.
• Cook all the cod fillets for 6 minutes.
• Turn them around – put some more butter and lemon juice.
• Cook for 5 minutes more.

Your broiled cod fillets will be ready to be served.
