Cleaning tips of a George foreman grill after you have used itWe bought our George Foreman Grill last month and were given a free demonstration on how to clean a George Forman grill within a day. Cleaning George Foreman grill is as important as having hygienic meals prepared in it. If we are not able to clean our grills well, our food will not only taste just like the previous meal prepared, but it shall also lose all its flavor – all your efforts will go down the drain. Thus learn its effective cleaning process just as you learn how to use it.

Step one: Unplug the grill. If the grill is hot, put a damp paper towel inside and then close it.
Step two: Wait for 30 minutes.
Step three: You have to wipe the grill slowly. You can use your oven mitts for this purpose – slowing wipe the grill with the help of the paper towel, which must have become quite warm by now.
Step four: You will need your grill sponge now. If you have purchased a George Foreman grill, you must have got your sponge with it. Use this sponge to slowly clean the grill with dish soap and some warm water.
Step five:  You can use the plastic spatula to scrape off any difficult food particles which remain in the grill. (I always suggest cleaning all food remnants as soon as you finish cooking – this prevents them from getting hard).
Step six: Dry the grill thoroughly. You can use some paper towels for this purpose if you wish.
