What You Need

12 pork chops

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons seasoning salt

4 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup flour

4 cups seasoned bread crumbs

8 tablespoons olive oil

2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 cup milk

2/3 cup white wine

Butterfly the Pork Chops

The first step is to butterfly the pork chops.

Step 1: Place the pork chops flat on a cutting board and cut along the bone, leaving a fillet of chops.

Step 2: Pressing down on the fillet, cut horizontally halfway between your palm and the cutting board. Make sure you don’t cut all the way. Leave about ¼ inch from the end.

Step 3: Open out the folds and spread on the board.

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. While it heats up, rinse the chops and pat them dry. Season them with garlic powder or salt.

Beat the eggs in a bowl. Dredge the chops in the flour and dip them in the egg. Take the bread crumbs and coat the chops liberally. Set them aside.

Heat the olive oil over medium heat. Fry each of the pork chops for 5 minutes on each side till the bread coating turns brown.

Now place the fried pork chops in a baking dish, cover them with aluminium foil and bake for one hour.

While the chops are baking, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk and wine in a bowl. Once the chops have baked, pour the soup mixture over them. Replace the foil and let them bake for another half an hour.

After 30 minutes, take the chops out, remove the aluminium foil, garnish with herbs and serve on a plate. Bon appétit.
