Move away from the traditional method of grilling ribs and try to bake BBQ ribs. Let me tell you how to bake BBQ ribs so that you can enjoy a different taste of oven baked ribs. You can easily bake BBQ ribs in your oven; it’s pretty easy and delicious too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Marinade Recipe For Baking BBQ Ribs

Vinegar – 1 table spoon

Butter- 1/4th cup

Smoke Sauce (Wrights) – 1/8 cup

BBQ Sauce (Gates) – 1 large bottle

Lemon Pepper

Cajun

Tenderizer

BBQ Spice

 

Prepare the marinade by mixing vinegar, butter, smoke sauce and BBQ sauce in one cup of water. Microwave the marinade mix for 1 minute.

 

How to marinate BBQ ribs?

The marinated BBQ ribs should be kept overnight for best results. Clean the meat by washing thoroughly. Keep the ribs aside in a plate or a pan.

Drench the ribs in the marinade. Sprinkle some tenderizer over the ribs and sprinkle remaining spices all around the ribs.

Use a aluminum foil sheet to cover the ribs and seal from all sides.

Keep the marinated ribs inside the refrigerator, preferably overnight.

 

How to bake BBQ ribs?

Next morning prepare the oven for baking BBQ ribs by heating it until the temperature is 325 degrees.

It would require about 4 ½ hours for baking BBQ ribs. Always bake with the foil to prevent burning. After 4 ½ hours remove the ribs from the foil and smudge sauce over the ribs and bake for another 1 hour. The last one hour of baking should be without the foil.  

Take it out of the oven and your yummy delicious tender baked BBQ ribs are ready to serve.
