Avoid Snakcs At OfficeI often wonder about the most decent and sober way to avoid office snacks. Avoiding office snacks does not only mean avoiding snacks which are offered by colleagues, but also resisting your own temptation of munching in those fried chips or a soft drink which has been lying on that table for long. One thing, I can assure you, that it is really not that easy to avoid office snacks - that too everyday and especially when you are hungry and your tummy doesn’t allow you to think about anything else, than how to fill itself up.

 

To have it or not: The dilemma continues...

 

How many times has your diet plans failed due to your office? This is a common when you have just had a diet breakfast, counted your calories and reached office feeling happy and satisfied - just when you are greeted with a box of chocolates! Your friend has just been promoted - can you deny that box of chocolates when everyone else is happily munching? Well - think about it! It might mean that you are jealous, unhappy....mean and so on! Instead of having to explain so many things later on, the current situation demands that you pop in that chocolate. So...your diet plans?

 

All is not over yet - here are some recommended ways of avoiding office snacks...you can try it out and check out for yourself, if it works for you!

 

Health concerns

 

Instead of telling your coworkers that you are on a diet, it is suggested that you let them know that you have been advised to stay away from such foods. In such a case, they will surely not force you with all those junk goodies which they might have. If you are able to explain about your diet plans without sounding too harsh and mean, they are surely going to understand your efforts and wouldn't force you.    

 

Have in moderation

 

Suppose you get to know about a holiday or a birthday party in your office and you are aware, that there will be whole lot of goodies and snacks in your desk! What shall you do in such a case? In such a case, it might be really very difficult to avoid - so, the best option should be to have something in little quantity, so that you do not regret it later on. Have something which is healthiest of all that is available and which will make you less guilty. This is one easy way to avoid office snacks.

 

Realty check

 

Whenever you feel the temptation for that extra slice of chocolate cake or sumptuous pizza slice, just try and move away from the place. It is better to be somewhere else and not feel tempted, gorge in and then feel guilty once again.

 

My personal view will be to avoid office snacks and instead munch on some healthy veggies and fruits when you feel to binge!
