Fish: Fish is an important part of Bengali food and restaurants take inspiration from Bengalis and make it in a nutritious as well as delicious way that it serves all purposes and remains a hit at every fish-fan table. Some of the popular fish recipes are fish hilsa, Prawns Malai curry and fish orly.
Desserts: In the dessert menu of the restaurants, enjoy sweet Yogurt, Rasgulla, sweet parval, ice cream and jafran Sandesh, yogurt flitters and carrot halwa among some of the mouthwatering dishes from Bengal.
Curries: Curries, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian are important part of Bengali kitchen. Some innovative chicken and mutton recipes come directly from Bengali kitchen like chicken roast, Chili Chicken etc. Vegetarian curries like paneer kalia, whole potato curry, stuffed vegetables are a few that can easily be seen at all good restaurants.
Dry vegetables: A preparation from potato called aloo poshto and a preparation from pumpkin called Kumhro Saag are some of the dry vegetables, which are also found on restaurant menus.
