- Milk, bread, salt can provide the threesome combination for curing a boil. Bring milk to a boil and add two teaspoons of salt to it. While it is simmering add a few bread crumbs to the milk to thicken the consistency. Divide the mixture into 3 -4 portions and apply it as poultice on the boil every 2 -3 hours.

- Turmeric has been used as an age-old remedy for boils. For fresh boils, use fresh roots of turmeric and roast them. Dissolve the ashes in a cup of water. Apply the paste on the boil 2 -3 times a day. Turmeric has healing properties and is anti-inflammatory in nature.
- Bitter gourd juice is an effective home remedy for boil as it has deep blood cleansing properties. Drink a mix of bitter gourd and lime juice on empty stomach for a couple of months to see the effect.
- A paste made out of neem leaves is also effective against boils. Neem oil or freshly ground neem leaves can be used for the same.
- Take a handful of parsley and wrap it in cheesecloth. Place the cheesecloth on the boil and wrap a hot cloth around it just like a bandage. Parsley has healing properties, which help the boil reach its head.
- Over and above, it is important to practice good hygiene in the way of using cleansers for the skin on a regular basis. Apart from this, do remember not to share toiletries with anyone.
