Few Natural Herbal Remedies for Warts

  1. Tea tree oil is ideal for melting the wart. Apply tea tree oil on the wart and watch it disappear.
  2. Echinacea boosts the immune system. The tincture of Echinacea can be used as topical application for getting rid of warts.
  3. Garlic is a potent antiviral. Prepare a poultice of raw garlic and apply on the wart. Keep it on for about 24hours. The wart would fall off within a week.  
  4. Calendula is another herb that has antiviral properties. Brew a strong tea using the herb. Drink this tea or better still apply it on the wart.
  5. Aloe Vera is well known herbal treatment for warts. It can be applied as a cream on the wart and very soon, it would fall off.

 

Tips for Managing Warts Naturally

  • Do not try to pluck out the wart since this can cause profuse bleeding.
  • Warts are viral infections and can spread to other areas.
  • Rub potato peel on them for about a week for relief.
  • Lemon slices in apple cider with some salt can also help.

 

Herbal remedies for warts are effective even though some of them have to be used continuously for a period of time for the effects to become apparent. If the warts spread or you notice some kind of change in its texture or appearance, consult a medical practitioner immediately.
