Celebrity Diet - Heidi MontagWe all know that Heidi Montag of The Hills has one of the best bodies in the show business. To stay that good looking, she really works hard in the gym. And it is only logical that I write a blog about the Heidi Montag diet. Scroll below for the details.

The Heidi Montag Diet:

Heidi Montag is quite proud of her body and she has the right to be. She after all appeared on the cover of the Playboy magazine, right?!! She has never really been on a diet. But, she does keep a tab on all the dessert consumption. Heidi Montag eats 5 to 7 small meals a day. Eating small portions through out the day will keep one's metabolism rate high. Her diet is high on lean protein and vegetables, and it is low in processed flour and sugar. On a typical day, she would be eating egg whites on oatmeal, ham on wheat sandwiches, sushi, and apples. Heidi Montag drinks a plenty of water and religiously stays away from alcohol.

To get to the current shape that she is in, this actress-singer worked with the celebrity trainer Chad Waterbury. Her trainer got her in shape sooner than she had hoped for. Heidi Montag hit the gym religiously 6 times a week. On a typical day, she would start with 30 minutes of power cardio like speed walking or inclination walking. Then she would spend 30 minutes doing weight training which includes leg lifts, squats, lunges and upper body weight lifting. And because she has learnt a lot about health and fitness over the years, she has published an e-book which gives workout tips. “The e-book is a healthy lifestyle to adapt and adjust your body to every day," she says. "You can download exercises, a plan to break-down what you should do each day, a whole health plan--it's really a lifestyle of fitness." The e-book is available on her website.

Final Word on the Heidi Montag Diet:

Heidi Montag has found the balance and she seems to maintain it really well. Her diet is laden with lean protein and vegetables, which is good. Spending 1 hour in the gym for 6 days in a week will eventually sculpt your body. So I will recommend a diet similar to Heidi Montag's for anyone who is looking at toning up. However if you have a medical condition that needs supervision, I suggest that you consult your doctor first.

Good Luck!
