Grey Poupon Joins Hands With WFC
When you have a grand event taking place, every sponsor wants to associate with it. That is what is happening in case of the World Food Championships (WFC), to take place in November this year. The latest company to join the sponsorship bandwagon at WFC is the Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard. The mustard has agreed to be the title sponsor for the event – World Sandwich Championship.
The event holds a cash prize of $300,000 and it will be played across seven key categories. The final ceremony would be a “Final Table Face-off”, which will be judged by culinary giants of the country, and, of course, Adam Richman. When you talk of food in America, can Richman be any far behind?
Speaking about the sponsorship deal, Richman said recently, “The WFC is excited to announce the addition of Grey Poupon as one of our primary sponsors.” Of course the organizers are thrilled to have such giants as Grey Poupon and A.1. Steak sauce in their sponsors kitty. With such classic categories as barbecue, chili, burgers, sandwiches, and side dishes, to be fought, sponsors like the mustard and steak sauce companies are the perfect foil to the food that will be prepared.
