I love bananas and banana split, they are big size all american indulgence.

Restaurant owner E.R. Hazard first concocted the divine dessert in 1907 in Willmington, Ohio. French, brits and other states claim it be their own so it is split.
Michael Turback, author of “The Banana Split Book,” has said the dessert “reflects our genius for invention, passion for indulgence and reputation for wackiness.”
