Navaratri  is being celebrated throughout India with traditional flavour and  ageity. Navratri  is a Hindu festival of worshiping Goddess Durga . The most unique food related feature of Navaratri celebration is BHANDARA .During Bhandara, Prasad is  distributed to each and everybody taking part in the celebration.

I saw a great Bhandara at Chattarpur Temple, New Delhi. According Temple sources nearly one lakh devotee per day participate in Bhandara and in one sitting 3,000 to 5,000 devotee seat together on ground to take the prasad. Mainly Poori, halwa, potato fries and fruits are  distributed there. Take the visuals taste of devotional food ocassion.
