Foodie Thoughts for 21 December
Foodie fans you'll be please to know that in California it's Kiwi Fruit Day - I guess if you're in another state you can play too... For some reason it's National Hamburger Day? As of late many of the National Food Holidays boggle my mind - I think of hamburgers as being an every day food, however I would think the day dedicated to them would be in the summer... I'm a year round griller (even when I lived up north in the snow I grilled year round) but it still blows my mind this isn't a summer holiday... Get ready for your Christmas hamburger everyone...

I couldn't find an exact date for the shrimp - I found it on both the 20th and 21st... But as I look again I see more of them have it on today so I guess we'll go with that one!
