Emilio Estevez's Real-Life Script Has Grapes In It

Emilio Estevez's Real-Life Script Has Grapes In It! Good for him. Every time I think of Emilio Estevez, two things come to my mind. One is the Mighty Ducks movies that he starred in as Gordon Bombay and the fact that he has very soulful eyes. Soulful eyes bit might sound a bit corny, but that is the truth by me. He is also known for the movie that he directed; Bobby (you gotta watch this). But, over the past 5 years Emilio Estevez's real-life script has been planting grapes. Yes, the thing about Emilio Estevez and grapes is that, he finds cultivating grapes; very therapeutic. I find cooking therapeutic; why shouldn't Emilio Estevez find growing pinot noir plants relaxing?

Mr. Estevez, 48 and his fiancée Sonja Magdevski live in a nice Spanish casa in an one acre land in Malibu. Many vintners will not consider Malibu as a prime spot to grow a grape or two. But Emilio Estevez has literally covered all the available land in his home with nearly 800 pinot noit grape vines. His parents Janet and Martin Sheen were more like, “What the hell are you doing?!”. But he didn't seem to care less. Emilio Estevez's real-life script has Casa Dumetz written all over it. Casa Dumetz is the name that he has given to his vineyard and to the wine bottles that come out of it. Mr.Estevez said,“I write a lot of dialogues out there,” probably because Casa Dumetz is his calm place. I believe that a lot of writing for his new movie 'The Way' has come out this vineyard.

In this rate, Emilio Estevez and grapes will go hand in hand for a long time. However, in Emilio Estevez's real-life script screams out loud that he is only the farmer, while his fiancée Ms. Magdevski is the wine maker. By the end of last year, there were about 624 bottles of Casa Dumetz wine, ready for consumption. Emilio Estevez's real-life script also includes the fact that he and his fiancée are looking to expand their vineyard. He has developed an understandable fascination towards California cult cabernets and high-end Bordeaux. So, who knows what to expect out of Casa Dumetz in the coming years. Whatever it could be, I wish him good luck.

And I also have a strange wish. Mr. Estevez, I hope you would make a movie titled D4: The Mighty Ducks Re Union with Joshua Jackson (drool) et al!
