Just a glance at the Elvis diet is enough to make you understand what it means to be on a food overdose! It was filled with nothing but several high calorie foods, something that will surely give an attack to an anorexic!
After many years of investigation the experts have reached to the conclusion that Elvis died of a drug, alcohol and food overdose. According to reports Elvis Presley Diet is also termed as Elvis Presly Killer Diet packed in more than 94,000 calories! Elvis reportedly weighed 159 kilograms at the time of his death at the age of 42.
According to media reports indigestion of rock and roll pies ultimately signaled an end for the great crooner of 20th century. Elvis munched on the deadly rock n roll pies which included lots of vegetables, chicken, salmons and beans to name a few ingredients. The way to reach out for information regarding exact foods that caused death is sealed away in an autopsy report by none other than Vernon Presley – Elvis’s father. The report is to be publicized in 2027 about 50 years after Elvis death.
A report published in UK Sunday Times dated 24 December 1995 – states that Elvis had his meals king size. Following are some of the foods that Elvis had for breakfast, and dinner.
- Breakfast: 1 pound bacon, 12 buttermilk biscuits, half a pound sausages, and above all six large eggs cooked in butter. Extra dash of salt was sprinkled on these eggs to make them tasty. This breakfast packed 5,000 calories.
- Dinner: "Fool's Gold" sandwiches which are 30 –cm bread roll stuffed with peanut butter, strawberry jam and bacon. Each of this bread rolls packed in 42000 calories and towards his final days Elvis chomped two such sandwiches.
- Supper: The supper was usually deep-fried peanut butter, five-double hamburgers, and mashed banana sandwiches. This added another 5000 calories.
Experts state that Elvis diet is enough to fuel a common man for about a month.
