A Healthy Mediterranean Dish

Everyone wants to live as long as possible but extending years in your life are rather difficult. People do go for certain anti-aging procedures such as face-lifts, botox injections, etc which make them look and feel better externally, but internally age reversing is probably impossible. However, a healthy diet can surely extend your life to a certain extent.
If you consume a lot of double burgers, fries, and milkshakes; it will lead to painfully slow blood flow, and hardened arteries. This means shorter life span. On the other hand, if we go for the right kind of diet, our chances of a long and healthy life increases manifold.

Eat more super foods:
From today itself, be determined to include more super foods in your diet. It is said that eating seven super foods daily (red wine, dark chocolate, fruits, vegetables, garlic, fish, and nuts), in the appropriate portion sizes can actually reduce our heart disease risk by 75 percent and also can add an average of six years to our life.

Balance your calorie intake while eating:
Research has proved that overweight people are 30 percent more prone to heart disease and the chances of heart disease is twice as high in those considered obese as compared to those who have normal weight.
This doesn’t mean that one should not eat; this only means that you should focus more on the nutrients and try to cut down on food heavy on calories.

Eat Mediterranean foods:

It is said that a Mediterranean-style diet that includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, fish, and a daily glass of red wine promotes longevity. A Mediterranean-style diet actually lowers blood pressure, reduces inflammation, and protects against serious health conditions from cancer to stroke.

Eat plant based foods:

Plant foods are loaded with flavonoids, phenols, polyphenols, and thousands of other chemicals and they help to prevent disease from our bodies. People who want to live a longer healthy life should eat a lot of plant foods. These are the most nutritious foods on the planet.

While letting bread proof my electrics went out. Not wanting to waste the dough we fired up the grill (400 deg). Baked the bread. Kitchen stayed COOL. Gonna use the grill as often as possible to bake breads.
