• Pink Lemonade cup cakes: These cup cakes are a breeze with their fluffiness and mode of preparation. With a box of white cake mix, pink lemonade drink mix, the cake batter is prepared and spooned into the cup cake tray, and put for baking in a preheated oven. Once the cupcakes are done, allow them to cool. Top them up with butter cream icing and add a bit of bit of sparkle by garnishing them with pink sugar.
• Spring flower cupcakes: Spring blooms with colors and flavors, so how about an Easter cupcake for kids, which will actually symbolize that? For a batch of 24 cupcakes prepared the usual way, keep a pastry bag, a pastry bag tip(star-shaped) and butter cream icing ready. Divide your icing in the ratio of 1:3 where the 3 parts can be tinted with food coloring. Decorate the center of the cupcakes with the white-icing-(so as to form a small circle). For the leftover surface area, use the colored icing working with the pastry bag carefully. The final outcome should look like a cluster of petals enclosing the white center- a bloom sure as an Easter food.
• Easter cupcake: The bunny’s basket: Cupcakes in the shape of a bunny basket is an incredible way of making Easter cup cakes for kids. Bake your cupcakes as per the directions given in your cake mix. Allow them to cool and when cooled, top them with vanilla icing. Now mix coconut flakes and some food coloring of your choice (preferably green to represent grass) in a bowl and sprinkle it on the icing of each cupcake. Top this up with 2-3 jelly beans of assorted colors (representing Easter eggs). Keep your batch of shoe string licorice (about 4-5 inches) ready as this will be handy to make the handle of the cupcake basket. Poke the periphery of the cup cake top on two ends and plug in the shoe string licorice. Here is the Easter bunny with glad tidings and good beginnings with the Easter egg.
• Easter bunny cupcake: Easter, the bunny and the eggs…why wouldn’t the kids buck up to dig into the treasure hunt for the yummiest Easter food in the form of cupcakes? Keep your cupcakes to give it the “bunny-pun”. Take a cupcake and top it up with frosting over which you sprinkled coconut fur. For the bunny ears, take a large marshmallow halved width-wise; press it gently to give it an oval shape. Use pink decorator’s sugar on the sticky side of both the marshmallow halves and position them as the bunny’s ears. For the nose, use a pink jelly bean and snipped sweet tart eyes for the bunny’s eyes; mini marshmallows for both the cheeks and you could also draw the pupils and whiskers with decorators gels to make your Easter bunny life-like.
When the above ideas on Easter cupcake for kids take shape in the bake, your kid’s joy will know no bounds making them join the fun of cooking, eating and well frolicking around with the Easter bunny.
