"I know you have probably been bombarded by photos of dead bodies floating in the water.  I wasn’t thinking to share any of those photos with you, until I saw this one.  It spoke to me so profoundly of this family of seven’s last, desperate bid for survival, I decided to share it with you.  The children have rope tied on one of their arms, which links them to the other children.  The adults must have tried to keep the children from being carried away in the wind and the water by tethering them to one another and probably to something else, as well.  When I see this photo, I am also reminded how much loss survivors will have to cope with as they try to move forward with their lives."
