David Beckham’s Christmas in Hertfordshire was on a busy schedule, but he sure had time for his favorite dish.

This Gold Blue Peter Badge winner stopped by Tony Lane's Pie & Mash Shop in Waltham Abbey, Essex to have some of its famous dish – mash and pie.

He posted a  photo of himself eating that superb dish on Facebook, and he captioned it saying: 'Another picture from my favourite pie and mash shop.'

Sources say that whenever Beckham is in London, he makes sure that he visits Tony Lane’s eatery. Apparently, he has been a fan of that place for over 7 years.

The legendary pie and mash of Tony Lane’s is so delicious that David Beckham, 36, had ordered for the entire team of Tottenham Hotspurs when he finished training at White Hart Lane earlier in 2011. Talk about appreciation, eh?
