Would you beg, borrow or steal for some cucumbers?? Looks like a thief or perhaps a whole bunch of them are preparing for some kind of vegetable hoarding, just in case… Well, the winters are coming after all.

The Adelaide cops in Australia are baffled over the fact that over $10,000 worth of cucumbers has been stolen in eleven separate robberies over the last three months. The latest robbery of 50 bags of pickles is the largest of the heists so far.

The flustered police officers are in a real pickle concerning the cucumbers. 'The issue with the cucumber is how do, you and I tell who owns a different cucumber?’ SA Police Chief Inspector Kym Zander told ABC Radio on Wednesday.

He also added, ‘we are having difficulty establishing where they (the cucumbers) are going.’ Well, chief, I guess we all have to keep out eyes and ears open to solve this one. May be you should be keeping a tab on the friendly co-worker or neighbor who keeps on bringing cucumber relish, pickles or salads to the potluck. What do you all think?!
