·The cauliflower is a versatile ingredient and tastes great if cooked right. It is important that it be not overcooked to the mushy state. Boiling or steaming it must be done carefully.

·Remove the leaves on the outside, cut away the thick stalks and cut into individual flowerets. Put into a bowl of water and add to it some salt. This would help to take out any impurities. Keep for a while. Wash well and then use for cooking in your yummy recipe.

·Take out the cauliflower when tender (do not overcook). If your cauliflower is fresh, it will cook faster.

Great and informative blog! I always have them overcooked and look sort of mashed (even if I don't do it purposely). Last time when i prepared Aloo Gobi, the same thing happend.
