 Boiled Eggs

Today eggs have almost become an integral part of every dining table in the whole world. People are having many a dishes of eggs in their breakfast, lunch or dinner. But, do we know that these eggs have got this important position not much earlier. You might not believe but there was a time 20 years ago when egg was thought to be really bad for health. Some people still have a fear of eggs. There were so many people who were in the mode of ‘please make my breakfast without eggs’ for a while. Some of us still think that the cholesterol in eggs is a culprit in raising our blood cholesterol level. But, the research on eggs has proved all our egg related myths wrong. The research has proved that eggs are fine, and actually can be very good for you! Saturated fat and trans fat are far worse than dietary cholesterol at raising blood cholesterol. All of the dietary cholesterol is found in the yolk, and that is why we are so "egg yolk-phobic". But as a reader of the research paper I suggest all the readers of this article to eat the yolk!

Sliced Eggs

Few Reasons to eat eggs:
1. Weight management - Eggs contain high quality protein that keeps you full longer, helping to maintain a healthy weight. High protein diet makes us feel satiated and free from hunger pangs for a good 3-4 hours.
2. Strong muscles - Protein helps active people build muscle and can help aging adults prevent muscle loss. So, mother of younger child should always give eggs to their growing up kids. A child needs a lot of proteins in their childhood to grow up both mentally and physically.
3. Healthy pregnancy - Egg yolks are an excellent source of Choline, an essential nutrient that contributes to fetal brain development and helps prevent birth defects. Two eggs provide 250 mg Choline, about half of the recommended daily intake, for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Pregnant woman should take food more on behalf of their babies who are developing in their womb. So, even if you don’t like much of egg, try to have it for the sake of your unborn baby.
