Collectible cookies from space?! The first thought was “Have the Martians arrived already!.::-)..But I guess not!. The Regency Superior Auction running in Los Angeles is actually auctioning of collectible cookies that were aboard the Atlantis (Space Shuttle) from 1985!

Now who would be crazy enough to buy moulding cold cookies that has been around for almost 24 years! I guess there are many space maniacs out there who would do that.

A handwritten note by Astronaut Rodolfo Nerry comes along with the 8 Amaranth collectible cookies. It says that the cookies were made only once for the 61-B 1985 STS Flight as one of the experiments consisted of germinating amaranth seeds for the first time in history.

Don’t miss the auction that is gona run in Los Angeles from April 16th-19th if you wanna get hold of these cookies. By the way guess what the opening bid for the collectible cookies from space is? $95!
